Data Visualization

Data Visualization Services Clear and Actionable

You need data visualization that makes people understand the data, not just look at it. Whether you want to hire a data visualization company to redesign your reports and dashboards, bring in experienced data visualization designers to build interactive charts that tell a story, or need full data visualization services covering everything from custom data visualisation for investor decks to embedded analytics for your product, the goal is always the same: turn numbers into clarity.

Executive Summary

Data visualization services typically cost between $3,000 and $50,000 depending on complexity, interactivity, and number of data sources. Static infographics and report designs start around $3,000. Interactive, web-based visualizations with real-time data connections and custom development run $15,000 to $50,000.

Core Capabilities and Features

Interactive Dashboards

Interactive Dashboards

Live, clickable dashboards that let users explore data by filtering, drilling down, and comparing. Built in Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or custom-coded with React and D3.js. Dashboards are the right format when users need to answer multiple questions from the same dataset, when data updates frequently, and when different users need different views of the same information.

Data Storytelling & Narrative

Data Storytelling and Narrative Visualizations

Visualizations designed to guide the viewer through a sequence of insights, like a presentation, but interactive. Scrollytelling pages, animated data stories, and step-by-step narratives that reveal patterns progressively. This format works best for investor presentations, annual reports, public-facing data journalism, and any context where you need to control the narrative while letting the data speak for itself.

Embedded Product Visualizations

Embedded Product Visualizations

Data visualizations built directly into your web application, SaaS product, or client portal. Your users see their own data, rendered in your UI, with your branding and your interaction patterns. These are built as React components using D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, or Plotly, connected to your backend via APIs.

The Real Impact

Why It Matters

If your team ignores the dashboards you built, does not trust the numbers in your reports, or defaults to "I'll just check the spreadsheet," the problem is not the data. It is the visualization. The human brain processes visual information 60,000 times faster than text. But that only matters if the visual is clear. A confusing chart does not just fail to communicate. It actively miscommunicates. People draw the wrong conclusion, make the wrong decision, and blame the data when the problem was the presentation. Good data visualization changes how your team relates to information. Meetings get shorter because the data is already understood. Decisions get faster because the relevant comparison is visible at a glance. Alignment improves because everyone is looking at the same picture instead of different spreadsheets. The teams that get the most from data visualization are the ones who treat it as a communication discipline, not a technical task. They think about the audience before they think about the chart type. They test whether people understand the visual before they publish it. And they invest in getting the details right, because they know that one misleading axis or one mismatched colour can undermine months of analytical work.

Industry Data

By the Numbers

$10.92B

The global data visualization market is growing at nearly 11% annually and is projected to reach $18.36 billion by 2030. Demand for visualization is accelerating across every industry as organisations move from static reports to interactive analytics.

75%

Three-quarters of global organisations now include data visualization in their analytics strategy. If you are still presenting data in spreadsheets, you are in the minority, and your competitors are communicating faster

60,000x

The human brain processes visual information 60,000 times faster than text. This is not a design preference. It is neuroscience. Data presented visually is understood faster, remembered longer, and acted on more quickly than data presented in tables or text.

35%

Companies implementing real-time dashboards and visual performance tracking report a 35% increase in employee productivity. When people can see what matters, they spend less time searching for information and more time acting on it.

127%

Business intelligence investments (which include data visualization as a core component) deliver an average 127% return within three years. Visualization is the layer that makes BI accessible to the people who make decisions.

"Data visualization is not about making charts look nice. It is about making data understood. The best visualization is the one where the viewer gets the insight in 5 seconds and never notices the design."

Our Process

How we turn ideas into reality.

01

Data Understanding

Before designing anything, your data is reviewed. What does it measure? What are the dimensions, the time ranges, the relationships? What are the outliers? Your raw data, existing reports, and the questions your team needs answered are reviewed. This step prevents the most common visualization mistake: choosing a chart type before understanding what the data actually shows.

02

Audience & Purpose Mapping

A visualization for your board looks nothing like a visualization for your marketing team, which looks nothing like a visualization embedded in your SaaS product. Who will see the visual, what decision it should support, how often they will look at it, and whether they need to interact with it or just read it is identified. This determines everything from format to level of detail.

03

Design & Prototyping

Wireframes and mockups are created that show the layout, chart types, colour scheme, and information hierarchy. These are tested with real users before building anything. Does the most important insight appear first? Can the viewer answer their question within 10 seconds? Is the visual accessible to colour-blind users?

04

Development & Build

Depending on the deliverable, the visualization is built using the right tool for the job. Static visuals are produced in Figma, Illustrator, or directly in presentation tools. Interactive web-based visualizations are built with D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, or Plotly, integrated with your data via REST APIs or direct database connections.

Investment Overview

Static vs Interactive

A branded infographic or report chart is faster to produce than an interactive web visualization with filters, drill-downs, and live data. Static visuals start around $3,000. Interactive builds start around $15,000.

Custom Development vs Platform Tools

Building in Power BI or Tableau is faster and cheaper than building custom with D3.js and React. But platform tools have design limitations. Custom builds offer full control over look, feel, and behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this service.

What is the difference between data visualization and a dashboard?
Data visualization is the broader discipline of representing data visually, in any format: charts, infographics, maps, interactive web pages, presentation slides, or printed reports. A dashboard is one specific type of data visualization, typically an interactive screen that shows multiple metrics in real time. We build both, and we also build visualizations that are not dashboards: infographics, narrative data stories, report charts, embedded product analytics, and geographic maps.
What tools do you use for data visualization?
It depends on the deliverable. For interactive web visualizations, we use D3.js, Chart.js, Recharts, or Plotly. For dashboards, we use Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio. For static visuals and infographics, we use Figma, Adobe Illustrator, or directly within presentation tools. For geographic visualizations, we use Mapbox, Leaflet, or D3.js. For embedded product analytics, we build React components with charting libraries. We choose the tool that fits your use case, not the one we happen to prefer.
How long does a data visualization project take?
A set of static report charts or an infographic takes 1 to 2 weeks. A custom interactive visualization with data connections takes 3 to 6 weeks. An embedded visualization system for a SaaS product takes 6 to 12 weeks depending on complexity. Timelines depend on how clean your data is, how many visualizations you need, and whether the project includes data pipeline work or only the visual layer.
Do you handle the data or just the visuals?
We can do either. If you already have clean, structured data in a warehouse or API, we build the visual layer on top of it. If your data is messy, scattered across systems, or needs transformation before it can be visualized, we handle the data preparation as well. Many projects require both: cleaning and structuring the data, then designing and building the visualization. We scope each project based on where your data is and what condition it is in.
Can you build visualizations for our SaaS product?
Yes. We build embedded data visualizations as React components that integrate directly into your application. This includes charts, graphs, dashboards, and interactive data explorers that your users see inside your product, with your branding and your data models. We handle the frontend visualization, the API integration, and the responsive design so it works across devices. For multi-tenant SaaS products, we implement data isolation so each user sees only their own data.
How do you handle accessibility in visualizations?
Every visualization we build follows WCAG 2.1 accessibility guidelines. This means we use colour palettes that work for colour-blind users (roughly 8% of men), add text labels and patterns in addition to colour, ensure sufficient contrast ratios, provide alt text for static visuals, and make interactive elements keyboard-navigable. Accessibility is not an afterthought. It is part of the design process from the first wireframe.
